Treviso Airport or Treviso-Sant'Angelo Airport (Italian: Aeroporto di Treviso-Sant'Angelo) is located 1.6 NM (3.0 km; 1.8 mi) west-southwest[1] of Treviso in the Province of Treviso, Italy. Some airlines refer to the airport as Venice Treviso, as it is located approximately 20 km (12 mi) from the city of Venice. In 2007, a new terminal was opened, named "Antonio Canova" after the Italian sculptor. A total of 1,077,505 passengers were recorded at the airport in 2011 when it was closed due to upgrade works from 1 June until (including) 4 December 2011. Passenger numbers rose sharply again in 2012 when a total of 2,333,758 passengers passed through its doors.

A public urban bus service, operated by ACTT, connects the airport with the railway station in the centre of Treviso
A bus services connecting with flights for Transavia and Ryanair, operated by BARZI BUS SERVICE in 40 minutes by highway. Tickets can be bought only at their desk or in their bus.
A public coach service from Treviso to Padova and vice versa is operated by SITA and stops in front of the airport building every half an hour
Other bus connections are available from the airport or from the city centre of Treviso
The airport has two car parks. One is a long-term car park, 200 m (660 ft) from the airport (350 places) and the other is a short-term car park (60 places).
Daily coach service operated by DRD to Ljubljana (Slovenia) through the Venice Marco Polo Airport (Venice) and the Friuli Venezia Giulia Airport (Trieste)

Treviso

Treviso is a city and comune in Veneto, northern Italy. It is the capital of the province of Treviso and the municipality has 82,854 inhabitants (as of November 2010): some 3,000 live within the Venetian walls (le Mura) or in the historical and monumental center, some 80,000 live in the urban center proper while the city hinterland has a population of approximately 170,000. The city is home to the headquarters of clothing retailer Benetton, Sisley, Stefanel Diadora and Lotto Sport Italia, appliance maker De'Longhi, and bicycle maker Pinarello.
Treviso is also known for being the original production area of the Prosecco wine, and being the town where popular Italian dessert Tiramisu was created.

Treviso stands at the confluence of Botteniga with the Sile, 30 kilometres (19 miles) north of Venice, 50 km (31 mi) east of Vicenza, 40 km (25 mi) north-east of Padua, and 120 km (75 mi) south of Cortina d'Ampezzo. Treviso is situated some 15 km (9 mi) south-west the right bank of the Piave River, on the plain between the Gulf of Venice and the Alps.
